1. Who we are

This page covers what happens on this website and on the phone numbers listed on it. You cannot buy anything on this site — there is no cart and no checkout. Every sale happens offline on a written agreement you sign.
2. The quote form
The quote form is the only place on this site where you type anything about yourself. It asks for your first name, phone number, email address and delivery ZIP code, which container you are interested in and whether you want to buy or look at rent-to-own. Last name and a description of your project are optional.
The form is run for us by GoHighLevel, which is where your enquiry lands and where we keep track of it. Because the form is theirs, GoHighLevel also sees ordinary technical information about the visit — the same sort of thing described in the next section.
If you arrived here from an advertisement, we also attach the click that brought you, so we can tell which advertising is working. That is covered in section 7, including how to stop it.
3. What is collected automatically
Like any website, this one is served by a host — Netlify — which records the ordinary technical details of a request: your IP address, roughly where in the world it came from, which browser you used and which pages you asked for. We use that to keep the site working and to understand roughly how busy it is.
4. Phone calls
The phone numbers shown on this site are handled by CallRail. CallRail shows different numbers to different visitors so we can tell which advertisement or search brought in a call. The number still rings our yard. It records the number you called from, the number you dialled, and the date, time and length of the call.
Calls to these numbers are recorded. If a call is being recorded you will hear a short message telling you so before you start talking. If you would rather not be recorded, say so and we will carry on without it, or call us back on a number not listed on this site.
We keep recordings for as long as we have a business reason to, and no longer. If you want a recording of your own call deleted, ask us and we will delete it.
5. Text messages
There are two separate tick boxes on the quote form and they are not the same thing. The first is about your quote — a text to say we have it, to ask a question, or to send you a price. The second is about offers and promotions. Both start unticked. Ticking one does not sign you up for the other, and you can get a quote from us without ticking either.
You will never have to agree to texts in order to buy or rent anything from us.
Reply STOP to any message to stop it. Reply HELP and you will get a message back telling you how to reach us. Message frequency varies and your carrier's message and data rates may apply.
Mobile phone numbers, text-message sign-ups and messaging consent are never shared or sold to anyone else for marketing or promotional purposes. Nothing else described on this page includes that information.
6. Advertising and measurement
We advertise on Google and on Facebook and Instagram, and we use a few tools to see which of those advertisements actually bring people here. From launch, this site loads:
- Google Tag Manager, which loads and manages the Google tools below.
- Google Ads conversion tracking, which tells us which advertisement led to a quote request. It sets cookies or similar identifiers and collects a randomly assigned identifier, your IP address, the pages you look at and how you got here.
- The Meta Pixel, which tells us how many people who saw a Facebook or Instagram advertisement went on to ask for a quote, and lets us show advertisements to people who have visited this site. It collects an advertising identifier, your IP address, page views and actions such as sending the quote form, and Meta can match that against a Facebook or Instagram account.
- CallRail, described in section 4.
We do not sell or rent your contact details to data brokers or lead sellers.
7. Your privacy choices
These tools run by default. You can switch them off at any time using the Your privacy choices link in the footer of every page on this site.
Switching them off stops them loading at all — it does not merely record a preference while they carry on running. It also stops us attaching the advertising click that brought you to anything you send us, and clears what we had already stored about it. The page reloads when you opt out, which is how we make sure they have actually stopped.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as opting out and you do not need to do anything else.
Your choice is stored in your own browser, so you will need to make it again on another device or after clearing your browsing data. It has nothing to do with a quote you have already sent us — we will always reply to that.
9. Rent-to-own
Rent-to-own is arranged through a separate rental company, Rental Partners. If you want to apply, the application opens on their website in a new tab and you give your details to them directly. We do not hand your information over to them. What they ask for, and what they do with it, is covered by their own privacy policy on their own site.
10. Keeping it, seeing it, deleting it
We keep enquiries for as long as we have a reason to — a quote you might come back to, a job we delivered, records we are required to hold. When there is no longer a reason, we get rid of them.
If you want to know what we hold about you, want it corrected, or want it deleted, email sales@cactuscontainerstx.com and we will sort it out. We will not charge you for asking and we will not treat you differently for it.
11. Children
This site is for people buying and renting shipping containers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
12. Changes and how to reach us
If the business changes or we add a new tool to the site, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
