What we are trying to do
Plenty of our customers are not sitting at a desk with a big screen. They are in a truck, on a phone, in bright sun, or using a screen reader or keyboard to get around. We want all of them to be able to find a container, work out what it costs to their ZIP code, and reach us.
How we build the site
The things we pay attention to when building and updating pages:
- Clean page structure and plain headings, so a screen reader can move through a page in a sensible order.
- Text descriptions on images, and labels on buttons and form fields, so controls announce what they actually do.
- Readable text sizes and strong contrast between text and its background.
- Keyboard access — you should be able to reach and use the site without a mouse.
We use published accessibility guidance as our reference for that work.
The quote form
The quote form on this site is provided by another company and runs inside a frame on the page. We chose it for what it does for our customers, and we do not control how it is built. If it gives you trouble, you do not have to use it — call any yard and we will take the same details from you on the phone.
You do not have to use this website
If you would rather not use the site at all, call any of our yards. We will price a container, work out delivery to your ZIP code and start a quote with you on the phone.
